New Driving Restrictions Based on Last Digits to Be Implemented

Beijing will implement new traffic restrictions based on the last digit of the license plate numbers of motor vehicles from March 31, 2025.
According to the official website of Beijing Traffic Management Bureau, vehicles with license plate numbers ending in 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9, 5 and 0 are prohibited on public roads on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays respectively, from March 31, 2025 to June 29, 2025. Vehicles with license plate numbers ending in English letters will be considered as ending in 0.
NOTICE
Restricted hours: 7:00 to 20:00 on weekdays
Restricted area: Roads within the 5th Ring Road (excluding the 5th Ring Road)
